My words must have had a significant effect on Jasmine, because she hasn’t stopped staring at me since we left the house to come back to the nightclub for work. Even as she glides through the tables of gruff mafia men and their scantily-clad women, she looks back at me every few seconds.

I think I understand how to turn a woman like Jasmine into the women she’s meant to be, but it’ll take time. I don’t think I’ll even have to divorce her once the money is taken care of. I could keep her with me and enjoy her company, but that’s only if she fully embraces the darkness. Otherwise, it’s best to cut her loose and let her find a nicer way of living. My lifestyle isn’t for everyone.

Maybe, after all the money has been laundered, and is she can still stand the sight of me, we could retire somewhere nice and leave all this mafia shit behind. Even though I like to act like I can handle the violence, I’m worried that the police will come sniffing around here eventually and figure out what I’ve been doing my whole life.

I’m always on edge, and with Jasmine around, I’m doubly so because it’s my responsibility to look after her. She raised a good point today about her family’s murder, and how she didn’t believe that it was a coincidence. I don’t believe it was either, but I have even more evidence to point to that being the case.

Ten million dollars of evidence, in fact.

I keep an eye on both Jinx and Jasmine tonight. I’m suspicious that Jinx will let slip too much information about me and ruin my fun with Jasmine. Jinx knows an awful lot, and she tends to run her mouth, even if I tell her to zip it.

A wave of listless anxiety runs through me, and I feel claustrophobic in this club, constantly glancing toward the door. Am I afraid that more people will come in and try to kill me, or do I want to escape and run out into the street, leaving this deathtrap I’ve created behind?

I could always go out for a breath of fresh air. It’s been a while since I just stood under the stars and had some time to myself. I’m sure Tony could look over the club while I’m gone. I won’t be very long.

I look toward Jasmine as she bends over to take an order, flashing a pair of bright red panties at me from across the dimly lit club. They’re like a beacon of desire through a foggy atmosphere, guiding me to a place that I would love to stay inside of forever. I’ve never even touched that pussy, and I’m already addicted to it.

I stare at Jasmine’s ass, taking in the perfect sight of red until it disappears again under the velvet blackness of her short dress. I’m certain she did that on her purpose, but I have no way to prove it. Jasmine is a tricky woman who likes to tease.
